Esat Hisarcıklılar, Chairman of the Board of the Ostim Industrialists and Business People Association (OSİAD), and Vice Chairman Ö. Tayfun Angın visited our Director, Prof. Dr. Alpay Özer, in his office. Our Deputy Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taha Alper Yılmaz, and Lecturer Mete Özbaş from the Design Department also attended the visit.

During the visit, prompted by the change in administration at our School, OSİAD Chairman of the Board Esat Hisarcıklılar conveyed his best wishes to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taha Alper Yılmaz, who was appointed as Deputy Director. He also thanked Lecturer Mete Özbaş—who previously served as Deputy Director—for his contributions and dedicated work during his tenure, presenting him with a plaque. In return, Lecturer Mete Özbaş presented OSİAD Chairman Esat Hisarcıklılar with a photomontage (artistic collage) created by Mieczysław Szczuka in 1924, which depicts Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s reforms and efforts to modernize Turkey. The meeting also addressed potential opportunities for collaboration between our School and OSİAD.
