The College Advisory Board Meeting, attended by both internal and external stakeholders, was held online on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., moderated by our Vice President, Instructor Dr. Mustafa Göktaş.
At the opening of the meeting, our College Director, Prof. Dr. Alpay Özer, gave a comprehensive presentation on activities undertaken for the 2024-2025 academic year. The presentation detailed improvements to physical spaces, collaborations with stakeholder institutions and organizations, signed protocols, organized events and technical trips, and social activities, as well as the Research University's target indicators for 2025 and developments regarding the academic staff.
Stakeholders took the floor during the meeting and offered suggestions for how our college's education and training processes could contribute to its collaborations with the industry. Prominent suggestions included opening vocational courses for industrial workers and civil society, organizing workshops on endangered professions, expanding BELTEK courses, establishing an employment-focused center at OSTİM, organizing new workshops through school-industry collaboration, integrating universal digital learning methods into the curriculum, and organizing project days for students.
